解跃峰教授毕业于清华大学（获学士、硕士和博士学位），后在麻省州立大学从事博士后研究工作，现任宾州州立大学首府学院环境工程教授， 创建了小型公共供水系统技术服务中心和环境培训中心并担任中心主任。 解教授曾担任美国水协有机污染物控制委员会主任委员和北美华人环境工程与科学教授学会首任主席，是国际水协会士（Fellow） 和2010年加拿大富布莱特讲席研究员。2010年，解教授入选国家高层次人才，在清华大学环境学院开展教学与科研工作。此外，解教授还担任建设部水专项咨询专家和美国联邦环保署饮用水咨询专家。著有消毒副产物专著一部和编著两部。

Yuefeng Xie graduated from Tsinghua University with a BS degree in chemical engineering, MS and PhD degrees in environmental engineering. Currently a professor at Penn State University, he co-founded and directed Small Public Water Systems Technology Assistance Center and Environmental Training Center at Penn State. Dr. Xie was the Chair of AWWA Organic Contaminant Control Committee and the founding President of Chinese-American Professors in Environmental Engineering and Sciences society. He is an IWA Fellow and a Fulbright Scholar. He wrote one book and co-edited two books in disinfection byproducts. Currently, Dr. Xie is a “Thousand Talents Program” Chair Professor at Tsinghua University. He is also an advisor to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development under the Major Water Programs and a member of Science Advisory Board’s Drinking Water Committee of the United State Environmental Protection Agency.
